District of Tumbler Ridge Standing Committees
In an effort to garner more public involvement in the decisions of District Council the Mayor, in accordance with Community Charter Section 141 and approval by Council at the regular council meeting of December 2nd 2008, gave direction to create a series of standing committees. The overarching purpose of these committees is to gather information and solicit input to issues relating to their scope of concern, as assigned to them by the Mayor and Council.
