The Terminator

The pyramid shaped peak visible from the Core Lodge is known as the Terminator. This is one area that is popular to summer hiking and winter snowmobiling.

Activities

Hiking

This strenuous 3 km vertical climb up to the summit, is well worth it once at the top. There is a great chance of seeing mountain goats and spectacular views. Allow at least 3 hours for this 6 km round trip.

Snowmobiling

The Terminator trail head begins at the Core Lodge Cabin and contains rugged alpine areas.  With exciting climbs, bowls and steep alpine peaks.  Use extreme caution and know the snow report before you set off.  This area is a common avalanche area. Backcountry Skiing

The Terminator is a great place to hike up or off load your skis or toboggan and hit the slopes to the bottom!
