Boulder Gardens

At the mouth of Babcock Mountain there are unique Geological formation that are unlike anything else in the world. A shorter hike, that passes through other-worldly landscape strewn with rock pillars, slabs and boulders gets you to the Boulder Gardens.

Hiking

This is a trek of moderate difficulty. 2 hours should be enough to cover the 4 km round trip.

Snowshoeing

This is a trek of moderate difficulty. 2 hours should be enough to cover the 4 km round trip.

Rock Climbing

Many interesting and unique rock climbing opportunities exist.

Snowmobiling

The trail head begins at the Core Lodge Cabin and contains rugged alpine areas. With exciting climbs, bowls and steep alpine peaks. Use extreme caution and know the snow report before you set off.

Dangers

Large and abrupt cliffs and drop offs on some features. Children and pets should be supervised at all time.
Make sure you are well equipped for back country riding – carry avalanche packs, beacons, probes, GPS, extra fuel, etc.
